In memory of

Vera M Graham

February 7, 1946 -  November 3, 2020

It is with great reverence that we share news of the recent passing of Vera M. Graham. She was born on February 7th, 1946 in Saint Andrew, Jamaica to James and Dorothy May Campbell. Vera is survived by her sisters: Aldeen, Ava, Eileen, Stephanie; and her brothers: Greshford, Morris, Hugh, Percy, and Silbert. She leaves in good standing 3 sons, Howard, Robert, and Adrian. She loved her grandchildren Brittany, Tia, Keanna, Roshon, Jalen, and Jaliyah as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews beyond what words can express.

Vera worked through her career as a health care provider in Toronto, Ontario. She helped as many people as she could as she continuously upgraded her skills and put her caring nature as a nurse to good practice. She excelled in providing exceptional rehabilitation care for those with acquired brain injury, and she worked outside of her vocation within the community through New Hope Church in Mississauga, Ontario. Her impact on lives has been and will continue to be felt.

Please feel free to upload your memories and photographs as you help us to celebrate Vera’s life.

In her honour, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto Rehabilitation Foundation or New Hope Church.

Information regarding the broadcast of the funeral will be made available via this site on Thursday November 12th 2020. Please look to the top of the page at 13:45 hrs for the link

Words fail me right now , I can't believe you are gone. Even though I hadn't seen you in person for almost 26 years, I have some fond memories of her growing up in Jamaica. When she came on holiday, she would treat me as if I was her daughter. Even on my last visit to Canada she extended her hospitality to my sister and I . She was always a selfless, loving generous and kind human being. I'm so proud to have known you Auntie Vera the world is a sad place without you right now. Rest in eternal peace until we meet again.

Vera, Vera, Vera.: I Love you so much. I really, really, really miss you. 50 years ago you said Yes to Me (Babs) coming to Toronto, Canada: and ALL the others follow and the rest is His-story, but it is All Your-Story. (Because of You V)
V, you are so mystical:- What I never understand, to this day is how you get me to do whatever you say without any hesitation. e.g: you would say Babs, make me a cup of tea please, and it was done, no question ask.
You are the most kind, caring, giving and loving person I ever have in my life.
I Love you Vera, Mitta, I don't want you to go---but if we want to go to Heaven we have to die.---Sleep on and take your Eternal Rest. Until we meet again. Love, Love, Love. ( B).
