January 13, 1944 - December 27, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Veena Sharma announce her passing on Monday December 27 at the age of 77.
Veena will be lovingly remembered by her family: children, Anu (Seay) and Neeraj (Tracy); grandchildren, Chase, Quinn, Breann, Alyssa, Kirsten and Cailyn; dog Hawkeye and numerous other family members and friends.
Veena was predeceased by her loving husband Rajinder and grandchild Rye. She is fortunate to be rejoining them both in peace.
A celebration of Veena's life will be held on Tuesday January 4 at 11am followed by witnessing of the cremation at noon at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, ON, CANADA, L6Y 5L5

We, the Godkin Family, send our deepest sympathies on the loss of Veena, a dear mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. We will always remember our holidays together with Veena patting our hands at the table and laughing jovially. She always spoke of such pride in her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed reminiscing about her youth. Rest in peace Veena. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those loved ones she left behind.

It is with great sorrow to learn of ‘mamma Sharma’s’ passing. Veena and Raj always welcomed me into their home and family events as if I was part of the family. She leaves behind a legacy of loving and caring people in the beautiful, wonderful and generous family she leaves behind and now joins the love of her live Raj. Rest In Peace ‘mom’.

Veena was a very dear friend. A very nice person. When we lived in Sudbury, she used to make very delicious pizza and kheer. We enjoyed her and her husband’s company a lot. I know her children loved her and took very good care of her.
