KEHOE, Vanessa Lynn

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear beloved Vanessa Lynn on Friday, December 14th, 2018. Loving daughter of Ivan James and Helen Kehoe. Vanessa is survived by her sister Angela (Pete McCann) and by brother Ivan Jr. (Irene). Loving niece of Jim, Phil (Ruth), late Rick (Deb &
Cliff), Brian (Paula), Alex (Brenda), Delena (George), Sharon (Ray) and Simon. Auntie to Jacqueline, James, Matthew, and Paul. Vanessa leaves behind many wonderful cousins; Jennifer, Alannah, Cameron, Alison, Mike, Trish, Juliana, and Paul. Vanessa always treasured her many long lasting friendships especially with her best friend Susan and the "East Enders" of Oshawa. She loved and adored her faithful companion Tommy, her cat. A proud and loyal former Lakeridge Health Oshawa employee, prior to that, she worked at Whitby Swiss Chalet for over 15 years- Vanessa was always loyal and giving to many. She had the most beautiful big heart and was truly a wonderful human being. Her love was unconditional and she had a great sense of humour. Vanessa was an incredible story teller - to that she would say 'I take after my Mom' and on the serious issues of life she would say 'I take after my Dad'. In her weakest moments, Vanessa knew she could turn to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She never wavered in her love and trust for God. Vanessa's legacy lives on through her participation in the Trillium Gift of Life Donation program. Friends may call at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Thursday December 20th. Visitation will take place from 12pm until time of Funeral Service in the Great Hall at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vanessa's memory to the Lakeridge Health Foundation: Addiction Services - www.lakeridgehealthfoundation.com.

We will miss you darling Vanessa.

After spending many years working with you at Swiss and then at Lakeridge, the most poignant thing about you Ness, is that you were someone with the most bright and beautiful soul. You helped everyone, cared for everyone, and made everyone smile. Everytime I would see you, you would ask "how's your mom?". That just goes to show how much you truly cared for everyone in your life. We will all miss you Ness. May your hair be high, your lipstick be bright, and your laugh resonate through Heaven.
Rest in peace beautiful girl.
