KALLES, Vance (Evangelos) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vance Kalles, on February 15, 2025, at the age of 95. Loving father of Helen (Al) and Peter (Patricia); cherished Dedo to Michael (Lauren), Jennifer (Daniel), Kristina (Steve), Stef (John), Jaclyn (Reza), Katherine (Stanislav), David (Cassandra) and Elizabeth (Colin); cherished great-grandfather to Jacob, Madelyn, Lincoln, Aiden, Adeline and Yaroslav. Predeceased by sisters Stephanie, Victoria and Theodora and brother Jim. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Dafina Kalles. Vance was born in the Macedonia village of Rudari, Prespa Ezera region and immigrated to Canada in 1947. His greatest joy was his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his vegetable garden. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Family and friends will be received at Elgin Mills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, 905-737-1720 on Thursday, February 20 from 4:30 to 8:30. A funeral service will take place on Friday, February 21, with the final viewing at 9:00 am, chapel service at 10:00am and followed by the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation.
