In loving memory of Van Angelo, who passed away peacefully, at the age of 79 on February 19, 2025, with his devoted wife, Wendy (nee Davidson) at his side, as she has ever been. He is also survived by his children, Glorialeigh (Melanie) and Peter (Emily); His grandchildren, Winston, Charles, Theodore, and Evelene; and his sister, Alexandra. Van immigrated at the age of nine from Macedonia and became a proud Canadian, as well as a brilliant electrical engineer and a lifelong tinkerer. He shared his passions for technology, music, and nature with his family, friends and colleagues, by whom he will be dearly missed. Poppa, Dedo, Dad, Van: we will always love you. A visitation (from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.) and memorial service (from 12 – 1p.m.) followed by a reception (from 1 - 3 p.m.) will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. In lieu of flowers, Van's family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto (alz.to) or Easter Seals Ontario (easterseals.org) in his name.
