VALERIE (DELMA) ALAOUIEH (nee BEHARRYSINGH)

It is with great sadness that the family of Valerie (Val) Alaouieh announces her passing on January 1, 2025, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga after a valiant battle with cancer.

Val was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Eileen Beharrysingh, her daughter, Shazia, and her sisters, Rosemary and Barbara. Val will be fondly remembered by her surviving sisters, Elinor, Desiree, and Judy; her brothers, Rudy and Derek; her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her many cousins and their families.

Val was also a long-time employee of Bell Canada.

A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church, 1372 King St. W. Toronto on Friday, January 10th at 10:00am and interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto at 3:00pm. Receptions will follow the mass at Holy Family Church (11:30am) and the interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery (3:30pm)
The family has requested that any donations made in Val’s name may be directed to a charity of your own choice.
