In memory of

Valerie Allison Goldie

December 26, 2018

A wonderful person has departed. She was the centre, glue and focus of the family. Valerie Goldie passed on December 26, 2018 at Union Villa Long Term Care in Markham in her 96th year. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her five children: Heather (Graeme), Bonnie (Derek), Penny (Brian), Lesley (Robert) and Sean (Darlene). She was a gently and kind grandmother to Erin (Connie), Kelly (Farah), Colin (Jennifer), Ian (Heejoon), Leena, Justin and Simone. Her smile radiated warmth and affection for her five great-grandchildren (Winter, Sierra, Connor, Addison and Camryn) who caller her GGM (Great Grandma or G.G. Goldie). The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the staff and friends at Rouge Valley Retirement Residence and Union Villa Long Term Care who were compassionate and made her life comfortable to the end. Visitation and Service will take place at the Simple Alternative-Toronto, 275 Lesmill Road, Toronto M3B 2V1 on Wednesday January 09, 2019 starting at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
