Ursula Nicholas

April 12, 1937 -  December 11, 2020

NICHOLAS, Ursula April 12, 1937 – December 11, 2020

On Thursday December 11th Ursula passed away peacefully to join her beloved soulmate George. She was 83. Loving mother to Rosi Vanderheijden (Bob), Susi Scott (Doug) and Michael (Deborah). Beloved Oma to Erika, Joshua, Calvin, Nicole, Mathias, Karl and Great Oma to Alice, Patrick, Johnny, Heidi, Ivy, Wallace and Edwin.
Ursula was a dynamic woman who enjoyed life. She had a wonderful confidence about her and had a way of making those around her feel special. Always up to date with the latest fashions and OHH her jewelry! She enjoyed travelling and trying new things. An avid reader Ursula spent her career as a librarian in the children’s department introducing so many children into the wonders of reading.
She will be dearly missed by family and the friends she made over the years.
A special thank you to Val and the team on Willow Way at Hillsdale Estates for the loving kindness and caring they provided Ursula over the years. There are no words to express our heartfelt gratitude.
Due to COVID 19 there will no formal funeral at this time, a celebration of Ursula’s life will be held in the future. Arrangements have been entrusted to THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787).
