In memory of

周知行先生 Tze Cearn Chow

December 8, 1937 -  February 15, 2017

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tze Cearn Chow. Tze Cearn passed away the morning of February 15th, 2017. He was a kindhearted husband and father who was best known amongst family and friends for his passion for helping the people around him through the practice of traditional Chinese medicine.

He emigrated to Canada in 1981. When asked why Canada and not another country – he shared that Norman Bethune, the great Canadian doctor, was the reason. He wanted to introduce Chi Kung to Canada just as Norman Bethune introduced first aid, surgical techniques and basic sanitation to China.

He started Canada Chi Kung Health Clinic over 30 years ago on St. Clair Avenue West to help people using traditional Chinese Medicine and Chi Kung. He was a great healer and a compassionate individual. He will forever be remembered for his dedication towards his practice. Dr. Chow will leave a legacy of grateful patients and Chi Kung students.

He is survived by his wife Hong Ye Chow and their three grateful children – William, Stephen and Natalie, as well as his extended family in Canada and China.

We are heartbroken to have lost such a sweet and kind man, he will be greatly missed. We will honor him on Saturday, February 25th. May he rest in peace.

Our deeest condolences to the family. Dr Chow gave so much to both of us with his incredible healing. He healed my husband's nerve damage and revitalized my energy. On top of that, he was gracious in teaching us a little of the qi qong practice. He was elegant, patient and kind and we are both blessed for having crossed his path, if only for a few moments in time.
