This is what I learned from a wonderful Trillium nurse who was there about 10 minutes just before dad passed. He pointed to his 100 years old badge pinned on his jacket and smile a little without being able to talk. She got the idea to what he meant. It was “It’s time for me to leave and I am very happy that I have lived a happy and long life.” Dad, may you rest in peace together with mom!
We are sad that we will never see you again on earth but you are always here on our heart. Rest in peace Ong Ngoai.
Father Dear
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
We watched you fade away in past 3 weeks,
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay,
Our lips cannot speak how we loved you,
But God only knows how we will miss you,
May you rest in peace!
