Tu Lan Luong passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, May 16, 2021, in the presence of her 5 loving children. Born on Oct 10, 1941, in Vietnam, she was the youngest of 5. According to her, she was the apple of her father's eye. She graduated from university and became a successful Manager - rare for females at the time. Cherished and loved by all her friends and family, she was always the life of the party. Tu Lan loved singing, dancing, and traveling but most of all she loved her children. For Tu Lan, her kids were her life, and she sacrificed everything for them. She immigrated to Canada without knowing any English so she could provide a better life and future for them.

"Mom - all that is good in us, we owe to you. We are who we are because of your love and care. We are so blessed, proud, and honoured to be your children."
Love,
Melanie, Sharon, Viet, Chinh, and Hai

In her passing, she left behind 2 daughters, 3 sons, 5 granddaughters, and 5 grandsons.

Dearest Chinh & Daisy,
I was so saddened to hear about the passing of your dear, Mom.
I remember meeting her for the first time at your home (many, many years ago), one New Year's eve: she was the sweetest, kindest, most welcoming host to a bunch of unruly University kids. Remember the good times. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to all. I am so very sorry for your loss. xo
