In memory of

Toomas (Tom) Peter Loo

April 4, 1956 -  April 18, 2024

It is with sadness that, after a brief illness, we announce the sudden passing of Toomas Loo, on April 18, 2024, at the age of 68.

Toomas is now reunited with his parents, Raimo Loo Sr, and Vilve Loo (nee Must), his beloved grandparents, aunts and uncles. He leaves behind his brother, Raimo Jr. and nephews, Vander and Warrik. Cousins, Monica, Lynda, Endel, Liia, Mar, and families.

Born and raised in the beaches area of Toronto, Toomas was a first-generation Canadian, a child of Estonian immigrants.

Obtaining a degree in photography from the former Ryerson Polytechnic University, he gravitated to creative work. For the vast majority of his career, he took great pride as a camera, lighting and electrical technician in the film industry.

Only recently retiring, Toomas sadly did not fulfill his dream to move up north and live amongst nature in this life.

Toomas will be remembered as an avid music lover and outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing and photography.

This talented, creative artist and foodie will be missed, and is most certainly enjoying BBQ time in his eternal life.

A private family memorial will take place at a future time. Donations in Tom’s memory may be made to Alzheimer Society Ontario, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
