In memory of

Tony Tat Ming Tang 鄧達明先生

July 17, 1961 -  December 9, 2024

Tony Tat Ming Tang, age 63, passed away on December 9, 2024 at Southlake Hospital surrounded by his family after an 18 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Tony Tat Ming Tang was born on July 17, 1961 in Hong Kong where he married his beloved wife Ida before immigrating together to Toronto, Canada in 1992. Tony worked tirelessly as a new immigrant to support his wife and two sons while attending night school. He was a warehouse supervisor before transitioning to an airline catering manager.

Tony's hobbies were camping, golfing, fishing, travelling, cooking and hosting parties. He served his community as a boy scout leader where he created lasting relationships and influenced many lives. His proudest achievement was seeing his two sons becoming firefighters. Tony travelled to many places and experienced many cultures, his most cherished travel experience was the cruise trip of 2015 with his family and friends to the Caribbean. Even while battling pancreatic cancer, Tony was able to find the strength and persevere to witness his son's wedding and promotion.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Ida; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Patrick, and Terence and Molyna; and three dogs, Truffle, Kobe, and Peanut.

Donations will be greatly appreciated toward Southlake Health Cancer Centre. http://give.southlake.ca/goto/tonytang
