In memory of

Tong Anh Tran

September 1, 1961 -  May 13, 2022

Tong Anh Tran was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He left this world suddenly on May 13, 2022 at age 61. Even though Tong was taken too soon, he lived an extraordinary life surrounded by people all over the world who adored him.

One of the kindest souls on this planet, Tong was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family and everyone around him had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with incredibly admirable strength, courage and immense positivity.

Those who knew him will remember him for his remarkable selflessness, kindness, humility, and eternal smile. He was a simple man in the best way possible, never needing anything more than his family and his faith. Tong was a true role model who we will always look up to. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

The visitation and funeral service will be held at Meadowvale Funeral Centre on Thursday, May 19th at 4:00-8:00pm, and Friday May 20th at 9:00-10:00am respectively. The cremation will be held after the funeral service from 10:00-11:00am.

In lieu of sending flowers, donations are appreciated and will be sent to various temples and monasteries. Donations will be accepted at the visitation or you can please e-transfer to thitran91@gmail.com.

Tong, we love you so much.
A di da phat.

We are so sorry to hear the sudden news. Thi’s dad was one of the kindest person we’ve ever met. We still remember first meeting him when he travelled up to Ottawa to meet us. Right away we could tell from his energy that he was a calm and extremely kind hearted man and was a great conversationalist.

We wish there was more opportunity for us to get to know him more. May he Rest In Peace.
