JURAS, Tomo

Passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2022 at the age of 82. Loving husband of Katica for over 56 years. Beloved father of Manuella (Kevin) Pascoe, Gordon (Tanya) Juras and Susanne (Harry) Olsen , cherished grandfather of Devin, Matthew and Kristen Pascoe, Katelyn, Lucas and Holley Olsen, Christopher and Nicole Juras. Tomo will also be missed by his brothers Joe Juras, Peter Juras, Rudi (Milica)Juras, and sister Milka Vinkovic. He is predeceased by his brother Drago Juras. His many nieces, nephews and other extended family will also feel this loss. Tomo worked as a Tool and Dye maker at Daimler Chrysler for over 30 years. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity, selflessness and his great love for God, his family, soccer, gardening and all living things . The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the paramedics, doctors and nurses for the care and compassion shown to Tomo and his family. Visitation will be at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Wednesday August 3 from 5-8 and on Thursday Aug 4 from 10am until time of funeral service at 11 am. Donations will be gratefully accepted for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Sunnybrook Hospital.
