Tomiko Nobuto

April 8, 1928 -  January 19, 2017

With great sadness, the family of Tomiko Nobuto (nee Fukumoto) announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the age of 88. She had a great love for her family, friends, bingo and our hometown teams, the Blue Jays and the Leafs. Tomiko is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Eric (“Ed”); her son Gord (Rowena Casalme); her daughter Karen (Patrick Collins); her four grandchildren Michael (Kristen Rutherford), Lindsay Nobuto-Rueckert (Justin Rueckert), Neil Casalme and Nikki Casalme; and her great-grandson Greyson Rueckert; and will be fondly remembered by many other relatives and close friends.

There will be a visitation at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Friday, January 27th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will begin after the visitation. Interment to be held later at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Rd., Scarborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca).
