Tommy,

You were a great guy and I’m still in disbelief that you are gone. I met you through my cousin Pov, and he always asked you and Saroeun to take care of me when we went to clubs etc... when I first moved to Toronto from Calgary. You always made sure I was okay and did your due diligence because, I was your best friends cousin. You are one solid guy, and we were all so very lucky to meet you. Always a good head on your shoulder, totally dependable, funny, caring, and totally knew your comic book super heroes better than anyone I knew.

We will miss your good nature, integrity, quiet strength, humanity, and loyalty. You were there when the going got tough and you were the glue that helped my cousin get through some of the toughest times in his life. For that I’ll always be grateful to you. We love you Tommy, and I’m so sorry I’m not able to make it to say goodbye due to work, but I’m sure we will meet each other again. Say hi to Saroeun for me, and I’m sure you guys are drinking beer somewhere tropical, wearing tank tops, comparing tattoos, and popping wheelies on your motorcycles somewhere.

Love you always and rest well!

Xo

Best,

Sophon Chou

I am deeply saddened at the loss of such a wonderful person. Tom made everyone who met him feel special and although his time on Earth wasn’t long his impact was. May his family and friends take comfort in knowing that he will live on in our thoughts and memories.
May you Rest In Peace my friend ❤️

Tom was born in Malaysia to Ken and Anne Khuu on July 25th, 1979. He had a generous and giving spirit with a contagious sense of humour. Tom had an explorer’s heart that led him on adventures jumping out of planes and fishing the deep blue sea. He loved riding his motorbike with good friends and possessed the soul of an artist with an unmatched skill for sketching. He was an avid gym goer and loved spending time outdoors with those he cared about. Friends and family were an important part of his life and through his actions Tom wanted them to know that.
