It is with great sadness that the family of Tiiu Ester announce her sudden and peaceful passing on Tuesday August 8th, 2023.
Tiiu will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at York Cemetery, 160 Beecroft Road, North York, on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Guests are welcome to arrive at York Funeral Centre at 10:50 a.m.

I was a pupil of Ms. Ester's when she taught Grade 13 at Neuchatel Junior College in 1968-69. She was a very good teacher -- intelligent and demanding, but humorous and often kind. I remember her with gratitude.
