In memory of

Thomas Evans Williams

September 30, 1985 -  March 1, 2024

We are devastated to announce the passing of our beloved son and brother Thomas Evans Williams, September 30, 1985 - March 1, 2024. Thomas leaves behind parents Tom and Bev and sister Lesley, who loved him endlessly and whose hearts are broken.

Thomas cared so deeply for his family and friends and made countless heartfelt connections in his life from a young boy into adulthood. Sensitive, tenacious, sentimental, loving and full of humour, he touched the lives of so many people. Thomas especially adored his volunteer work at a cat shelter helping scared, anxious and shy cats and, of course, the kittens.

Thomas enjoyed summers at the cottage, hunting, puttering in his garage, blasting his music and any kind of new adventures - and can’t forget his obsession with the Simpsons. His greatest passion was cars, whether it was building model cars or fixing up the real deal. He gave his all to everyone and everything he loved.

He adored his precious rescue cats and referred to them as his kids. He first adopted his dear Julie, and then Fiona, Scout, Willow and Ray. They gave Thomas so much love and he returned that love tenfold.

The magnificent sparkle in his eyes, his larger than life smile and his infectious laughter will forever be etched in our hearts, and his beautiful spirit will be with us forever. Laugh with the angels in eternity, sweet Thomas. May your memory be a blessing. Until we meet again, yep yep yep!

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in his honour to Cats Anonymous Rescue and Adoption charity, the shelter in East Garafraxa Ontario that Thomas volunteered with and treasured. The wonderful volunteers at the shelter are now also taking such good care of his four beloved kitties, Scout, Willow, Fiona and Ray. http://www.catsanonymous.ca

Dear Tom
I'm thankful for your friendship. You were such a nice person. You took care about my Aunt Edith in Torrance at Nine Mile Lake. You helped her very much and had good and inspiring conversations with her. She loved you.
All the times I went to Canada you were a friend to me. You showed me a lot about Canadian Life. We had funny times. Thank you Tom, I will never forget your friendship and your great heart.
