Thank you Uncle Tom for always taking an interest in me, including me in conversations, and for always making an effort to see me if I was passing through town. Those things were very meaningful to me and I’m so happy to have been a part of your family.
I will miss Uncle Tom so much! I’m so thankful I got to live close by in Toronto while attending school. I have so many fond memories of visits while being a student. Uncle Tom always took an interest in my life and I always felt so cared about.
I’m so glad I got to meet him in Toronto. It was so nice how they had us over when I was visiting with friends.
My deepest condolences to Teri and all the family . Will have a mass said here in Dublin for the repose of his soul . Requiescat in pace Dei .
Tom was our great friend for almost 50 years. He invited us all to dress up, behave ourselves, and join him at the Sheraton Hotel for a dinner to meet, and hopefully impress, his new girlfriend. I guess we did the job right, and their 47th wedding anniversary is coming up October 8th.
He and Sylvia and their two daughters have been like family to us, shared holidays, travels, construction projects, and neighbours.
We will miss him, his quiet smile, and his loving embraces.
