OYAGI, Thomas - Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Sunday October 16, 2016 with his loving family by his side at the age of 88. Loving husband to Doreen and cherished father of Suzie (Tim Wallace) and June (late Michael Shin). Tom will be greatly missed by grandchildren Thomas, Ryan, Jaclyn, and Erica; siblings Tad (Jenny), Bill, and George (Rose); and nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Predeceased by sister May and husband Frank Isoshima. Visitations will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Sunday October 23rd from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre on Monday October 24th at 10:30 a.m. In memory of Tom, donations to the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre or Momiji Health Care Society would be appreciated.

Deepest sympathies and condolences Doreen, June, Suzie (Tim), Thomas, Ryan, Jaclyn and Erica for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. And also to Tom’s siblings and their families. It is sad to lose such a good man. We consider ourselves very fortunate and lucky to have had him in our lives. Mr. Oyagi was always the most friendly and congenial of all people. His love for his family was obvious every time we were in his presence. We will all miss him greatly. Our thoughts go out to his family during this sad occasion. Laura & Bob Doi
