In memory of

Thomas Andrew "Tommy" Armstrong

February 23, 1945 -  March 18, 2024

On March 18th 2024 at 512 am Thomas aka Tommy took his final breath with his daughter Shawna at his side at Scarborough General Hospital after a valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma. He is no longer in pain.

He is predeceased by father John and Mother Minnie nee Mc Farland of the Mill Kilskeery Co. Tyrone Northern Ireland; where he will eventually be interred in the family plot alongside brothers William, Charlie and John.

He is survived in Canada by his beloved daughter and in Ireland by Sam & Doris (brother and sister-in-law) Ann (sister) and countless nieces, nephews and dear friends on both sides of the pond.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Scarborough Health Network. While at Scarborough General hospital during this difficult time the staff from oncology, intensive care unit, social work and chaplaincy showed humanity and professionalism that were appreciated by my dad and I.

Dear Shawna;
I am sending you much love at this sad time. You took such great care of your Dad. You are a wonderful daughter and I have no doubt that you made your Dad so proud. All of us here in Niagara hold you both in our thoughts and prayers.
