Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on January 25th. 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Predeceased by her husband Vernal(2004). Loving mother of Michael (Annette), Leighton, Minerva, Lorna, Sophia, Sandra, predeceased by Claudette, Errol, Donald and Colin. Proud grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 20. Theresa was a sister to Tinny, Vincent, late Lila and late Talbert . Theresa will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and neighbours. She will be best remembered as a mother to all. Visitation will take place at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, South of Taunton Road and off Dryden Blvd. 905-579-6787 on Friday February 8, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Saturday February 9th from 9:00 am until time of Funeral in the Great Hall at 10:00 AM. The Griffiths family wishes to extend their appreciation to the caring and compassionate doctors, nurses and staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Extendicare Oshawa for attention given to Theresa and family during her stay- words cannot express our appreciation. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Sunnybrook Hospital Dialysis Units.
