Theo was married to my mums best friend. As a child of immigrants I knew the Gerritsens as my aunt and uncle. I adored them both and grew up with John Pauline and Susan. He was an artist, a father, a husband. He was a kind decent wonderful man. Beautiful life lived uncle.

Great chatting with you John! You summed it up best: A full life means touching the lives of many. What a bounty of giving your Dad shared with family and friends. May God bless your Mom, you, Pauline and Susan.

Dear family,

we wish you te best for all of you, very sad that Theo past away. But we read that his life was nice.
On the 26th we will celebrate his life in Holland.

Your dad liked 'haring' a lot! Every time he was in Holland, he went to the fish market to get one. And eat it with onions.

Lots of love, from your aunt and uncle
