In memory of

Steven The Phong An 殷世鋒先生

April 19, 1973 -  January 3, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven The Phong An, a devoted husband, and a proud father of two young boys aged 6 and 2. Steven, born on April 19, 1973, in the quaint fishing village of Hong Gai, nestled in the North Eastern part of Vietnam in the province of Quang Ninh, was the beloved firstborn son of Duc Qui An and Hao Van Luu.

Steven brought immeasurable joy and laughter to those around him with his unique sense of humor and love for joking. His dry wit and infectious laughter created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone fortunate enough to know him. Steven cherished the simple pleasures of life, finding solace and happiness in the company of his family and friends.

A man of diverse tastes, Steven had a particular fondness for Korean drama and enjoyed the delectable flavors of Korean barbecue. These passions provided him moments of relaxation and contentment, allowing him to unwind from life's demands.

As a dedicated husband and father, Steven leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his grieving family, friends, and the community he touched with his kindness.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, two adoring sons, and his parents, as well as his two younger brothers. In this time of sorrow, let us remember the joy Steven brought into our lives and honor his memory by continuing to share love, laughter, and kindness with one another.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society to the following URL.

May Steven rest in eternal peace, and may his family find strength and comfort in the memories they shared together.

My deepest condolences and prayers to the entire family. I pray for peace and strength during such a difficult time. I pray the Lord walks with you and carries you when times get tough.

I met Steven back in early 2000 through work. We worked together for 5 years or so and during that time, we laughed, talked smack to each other and helped each other out by listening when we needed a friend, not just a coworker.

I’ll miss his jokes and sense of humour. This doesn’t feel real.

You will be missed so much. Rest in eternal peace my friend 🙏🏽🤍🕊️
