In memory of Terry Chow (羅春蘭)
(September 10th, 1941 – August 4th, 2024)
Terry Chow was born in Hong Kong. She was the fourth child in the Law family, with two older brothers and two sisters, one older and the other younger.
Born on September 10th, 1941, she passed away on August 4th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Alex Chow, and her cherished children Walter (Emma), and Katherine (Ruti). Terry’s legacy continues through her four beloved grandchildren: Lucas, Madeleine, Ben and Tal.
Her life was rich and full. When she was not working or chatting with friends and family, she would sew or pick up her knitting needles to make handmade clothes and blankets.
Terry was a life-long learner who enjoyed expanding her knowledge and understanding. One of her favourite pass times was taking her children to the Chinese movie theatre. Movies nights were filled with fascinating stories and drama --- and always included pastries! Terry cherished spending time with her family, creating memories filled with love and laughter. She loved to share stories, weaving in her wisdom. She helped her children grow by exposing them to the broader world.
Terry was successful in her multi-faceted career. She was highly independent and worked hard yet still find time to care for her children. She nurtured their foundations so that they could become the adults they are now.
She will be missed deeply by her husband, children and grandchildren.
Terry will always be remembered for her warm heart and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will live on in those who knew and loved her.
Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within us.
