Teresa Leung passed away on March 22, 2022 peacefully at her home in Toronto, at the age of 82. She will be greatly missed and cherished by her husband, Francis, her daughters and sons-in-law, Susana and David, Anita and Benson, Elizabeth and Ken, Pauline and Edwin and her grandchildren Marcus and his wife Allison, Esther, Christine and her husband Brian, Deanna, Jessica, Michael and Tiffany. Teresa was predeceased by her parents Tse Cheuk-Kit and Ng Sim-Luen and brother Hong-Lin and sister Lam-Yin and her husband Tam Ying-Kin. She is survived by her sister-in-law Lam Lai-Yung, brothers Hok-Ling and wife Tam Miu-Yeung, Sou-Mee and wife Evelyn Kong and sister Siu-Yin and her husband David Ho. Teresa was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and she will be sadly missed by her family members and friends.

Teresa was born in Chiuchow, China, lived and worked in Hong Kong and eventually settled in Toronto. Throughout her life, she devoted wholeheartedly to everything she did which included building the family business, raising her children, caring for her grandchildren, and supporting her friends and neighbours. She loved baking, cooking, sewing for others and teaching Tai Chi. She was also a beloved member of the New Covenant Alliance Church. Her love, kindness and generosity will forever be an inspiration to us.

She exemplified determination, strength, and perseverance and always had a passion for learning and putting others first. She overcame many challenges in life and remained forever grateful to God for all of His blessings. Hallelujah!

The funeral service will be a private family event to be held at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre on April 2, 2022 at 10:30am followed by a burial service. A link to the webcast will be available on top of this website on Saturday, April 2nd starting at 10:15 a.m.
