FAIRCLOUGH, Teresa
Passed away peacefully, October 11, 2017. “Full circle” on her birthday, at home surrounded by her loving family. Adoring wife and soul mate of George for over 57 years. Loving mother of Michael, Valerie(John), Linda(Paul) and Christine(Nick). Cherished Nanny of Joshua(Natalia), Erin, Tyler, Sarah and Alex. Great -Nanny of Noah and one “on the way”. Teresa was also a grandmother of Ryan, Jeffery(Crystal), Taylor and Dana-Lea and great-grandmother of Jase and Justice. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Frank McAvoy. Much-loved sister of Christine, Peter, Kevin, John and the late Jimmy and David. Teresa will also be missed by her in-laws, extended family and many friends, especially Max, her West Highland Terrier. She will be forever remembered for her loving and gentle spirit, her beauty- inside and out, her devotion to family and her sarcastic wit. She was a voracious reader who generally loved people. Visitation will be held at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North 905-579-6787) on Sunday, October 15 from 11 am until time of Celebration of Life at 1pm. Reception to follow. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
