In memory of

Teodora Enfectana Lanante

November 23, 1948 -  April 26, 2022

Be Good, Be Nice, Be Kind

Dorie lived her life true to those words, passing away peacefully on April 26, 2022 with her son Paul at her side. Through her brief illness, Dorie was surrounded by her loving family and many friends. Born in San Juan, Philippines, Dorie was predeceased by her parents, Teodora and Ricardo, and siblings Florentino, Ricardo Jr., Norma, and Eduardo. She is survived by her loving son Paul, daughter in law Angel, granddaughter Arianna, siblings Fernando, Gloria, Lilia and Reynaldo, along with many adoring nieces and nephews.

Dorie arrived in Canada in 1982 to start her new life and three years later welcomed Paul, raising him alongside Mark and Anna Coatsworth, who lovingly knew her as Dado. She worked tirelessly throughout her life for the benefit of her family, and in her final days, her only concern was that her granddaughter Arianna would have every opportunity available in life. Dorie was the definition of selflessness - a beautiful person with the most infectious laugh.

We want to thank the incredible staff at Emmanuel House Hospice for making sure that Dorie was comfortable in her final days and that she always felt at home. To Dorie's many friends, thank you for bringing so much joy to her life.
