In memory of

Taylor Bridger-Holland

January 31, 1996 -  October 29, 2023

It is with profound sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Taylor David Leonard Bridger-Holland, from acute respiratory disease syndrome (ARDS) on October 29, 2023, at Toronto General Hospital.

Taylor is survived by his loving parents Sandy Bridger and David Holland, his half-brother Matthew Holland, Miss Cleopatra (Cleo), and a wonderful extended family. Taylor was welcomed into heaven by great-grandparents Eileen “Tiny” and Leonard “Mort” Mortimer, grandparents Marilyn and Daniel Bridger, great-uncle Lawrence “Billy” Mortimer, Judy Galyen, Rhoda Sheldon, Al Machado, and Miss Pepper.

Taylor was an award-winning journalist. He lived with his parents in Pickering. He graduated from UTSC and Centennial College with an honours degree in journalism and a minor in history and politics.

Taylor loved the outdoors – gardening, fishing, camping, kayaking, hiking and swimming. He was an animal lover, avid reader, model painter, video game master, and an eclectic music lover.

His parents would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at Toronto General Hospital, 14th floor Eaton wing. The level of care he received was outstanding! Thank you!

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 11th, 2023 at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centres, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering. The family will be receiving guests from 1:30 p.m. Services will begin at 3:00 p.m.

In memory of Taylor, and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue, www.sopercreekwildlife.com, or a charity of your choice.

So sad to hear of Taylor's passing, far too early for such a talented and much-loved young man.

Taylor, I'll always love you my brother. I wish we could have barbecued one more time in your backyard. I wish we could have played a few more games together, I wish we could have shared more music together. But God has his plans for you and he knows best. Until we meet again

Love you, forever

Taken from the world too soon Wish he had gotten the chance to live the life Sandy and David wanted for him.
