In memory of

Tamam Qubti

July 19, 1945 -  July 29, 2024

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share that Tamam Qubti passed away peacefully on July 29th, 2024, with family at her side at Gibson Retirement Residence.

Tamam was a beloved wife to Fouad Qubti (pre-deceased) for 31 years and a loving mother to her adoring children Joseph Qubti (Hala), Samer Qubti (Susan), Rita Karambatos (Michael) and Ramzi Qubti (Michelle). She was a shining light and a blessing to her 14 grandchildren, Frederick (Shannon), Sami (Gabriella), Matthew, Sophie, Duncan, Ava, Mary, Christina, Angelo, Jazmin, Laila, Neomi, Jaida, and Meila. She will forever be missed and her memory everlasting in our hearts.

Born in Jaffa, Palestine then moved to Amman, Jordan to start her family after marriage. She later immigrated to Canada in 1971 with her four young children.

Known for her radiant smile and mischievous sense of humour, Tamam never missed hosting a family celebration, always bringing joy to those around her. She was the first to extend warm wishes to everyone she met, leaving a legacy of love and laughter that will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

In lieu of flowers a donation in her memory can be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. https://www.stgeorgeto.org/donation-page/ and specify your gift: donation to church RIP Tamam Qubti
