Tam, also known as Tu Xuan Thuy, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2022, at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton. Tam is greatly missed and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Tu Lan Tran (Hung Nguyen), Ai Lan Tran, Tuyen “Pauline’ Tran (Huong Vu), and Duyen “Amy” (Andre Washington). She will be forever cherished by her grandchildren Tran Nguyen, Khoi Nhan (Phuong Nguyen), Khiem Nhan, Jaslene Vu and her great-granddaughter Kayla Nhan. She will be greatly missed by many other family members, friends and all who knew her.

Tam lived a full life filled with love for her family and friends. She loved traveling and cooking her specialty Vietnamese dishes for her friends and family. In her free time, she enjoyed karaoke and visiting with her friends. She always thought about others and was very generous with helping people in need.
