"The spiritual principle of love calls on us to be gentle and kind and treat others and ourselves respectfully. It is a reminder to choose to "LIVE LOVINGLY" and act with love. We have found that being in the place of love is the antidote to fear. Love is the ultimate place of serenity and acceptance." - Sylvie

I grew up playing hockey with Nicole. Sylvie came to support us at all of our practices and games. She was such a character, and would always make us laugh! She was an awesome parent to have on the team. We will miss her, and are so grateful for her support when we were kids 💕

Sylvie was a beautiful soul, caring, so kind and always had so many interesting stories to share. We worked together briefly at Canoe.ca a very long time ago. Although my time there was short, I felt very connected to her. Sylvie always reached over the years to check in especially when I had my first born. She had this incredible way of making everyone around her feel “seen” and supported.

I am so very sorry to hear this news of her passing. I will always remember her warm smile and contagious energy! She was a very special person who leaves a lasting impression when you meet her.

Dear Nicole, Daniel and Ross,
Sylvie was the light in every arena. We so enjoyed all of our time together in hockey rinks across Ontario. She led with love and love surrounded her.
Thinking and praying for all of you. Sending much love
