In memory of

Sylvie Beaulieu

March 18, 1967 -  October 9, 2022

It is with great sadness, that the family announce the passing of Sylvie Beaulieu, after a courageous battle, on Sunday, October 9, 2022, with family by her side. Beloved wife of Tony. Loving mother of sons Craig (Nanae) and Joel (Laura). Daughter of Jean Marc and Carmen, and sister to Nathalie (Henri). Loving aunt to Alexandre and Lucas. Cherished by her in-laws in the Caterina family. Sylvie had a passion for music, motorcycles, Stephen King novels, and loved spending time at the trailer on Chemong Lake. A trailblazer for women in the trades, Sylvie thrived in the male-dominated field of steamfitting, even becoming the first woman to teach in the trades at Durham College. She made friends easily wherever she went. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. May Sylvie’s loving, bright nature continue on in the lives of those who were touched by her.

Visitation will be held at THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road N, Oshawa, on Sunday, October 30th from 1 pm until time of Celebration of Sylvie’s life at 2 pm. If desired, donations in Sylvie’s name can be made to the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry.
