In memory of

黃鍾佩卿太夫人 Pui Hing (Sylvia) Wong

September 2, 1920 -  June 4, 2024

We are sad to inform you that our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Mrs. Pui Hing (Sylvia) Wong has passed away at the age of 103 on June 4th, 2024. She has gone home to rest with her husband Eddie Sun Wong. May she rest in peace.

Pui Hing will be remembered by her children Danny Wong (Jo), Ka Ming Wong, Peter Wong (Alice) and Emma Li (Neubert), grandchildren - Alison (Mark), Michael, Amanda (Ed), Bianca, Claudia (Nathan) and Simon and great-grandchildren - Oscar, Woody, Riley, Avery, Michael, Nora and Zoe.

Mom loved helping others and was known for her calm and peaceful demeanour. She always brought a smile to those around her. Mom took her role as a grandmother very seriously - she was always there for her grandchildren especially when they were under the weather, nursing them back to health with her comforting presence. While she lived in Canada, she also made sure to visit her grandchildren in the UK every summer when she was able.

We'll miss her dearly, but her love and warmth will forever remain in our hearts.

A visitation and celebration of life will be held at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre on June 20th.

The family would like to thank all the healthcare workers for their care of our mom.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care and North York General Foundation (link to donations are available at the bottom of the page OR under the donations tab).

I still remember Granny Wong brought me to watch 'Melody Fair' and have meals; all these have become my routine now, ie, enjoy life. Thanks Granny for showing us how to live happy as well as long, apart from being always poised and graceful.
