In memory of

Susanne Parker

April 13, 1961 -  February 7, 2019

Susanne was diagnosed 4 years ago with stage 4 breast cancer. About 3.5 years went by and she was as lively as ever. She started with a partial mastectomy and removal of infected lymph nodes. She tried hormone therapy, radiation and lastly chemo. Her brain mets have advanced and she was diagnosed with leptomeningeal disease. Her life expectancy was very short.

Susanne chose MAID, Medical Assistance in Dying. She had chosen this path as she did not want to suffer any more.
We have arranged for a viewing on Friday Feb 8th at The Simple Alternative in Pickering from 6pm-8pm. On Saturday, Feb 9th, we have arranged to have a graveside service at Duffin Meadows Cemetery in Pickering. We will be meeting around 11am with the service starting at 11:30am. Following the service we invite you and your family to Magwyers Pub in Ajax for a Celebration of Life from 1-4pm.

Thank you
Emilly Parker

My Deepest Condolences to Susanne's Family... I worked with Susanne at the Toronto East General Hospital in the Emer. She was an inspiration to the new R P N's in the Dept. Her passing will leave a giant void in the lives of her friends and co-workers..
I can honestly say she taught me a lot. she was and is one of a kind ….
Prayers for strength and peace go out to her Husband and her Children, know that she will always walk beside you … she is now at peace and out of pain..
God Bless
Margo Lewis.

With love and heartfelt sympathy to Allan, Emilly and Lindsay. You were her world and we are in awe of the grace with which you have handled the last few years and especially weeks.

Susanne was [often] the sensible one in those early days but we had so many laughs, then and through the years, and the memories will bring a smile for eternity.

Much love
Mary, Doug and Jacques xxx
