Passed away peacefully on November 27,2022 surrounded by her family at the age of 74. Born to Arthur and Violet Armstrong February 15, 1948, she grew up in Hagerman’s Corners (Milliken). Married to Frank Kovac in 1969, they raised two sons Larry and Jeff. Sue had many interests, she loved sports, music, reading, movies, and theatre.

A kind and caring person she returned to school, completing her degree at Ryerson to further her career as an Early Childhood Educator. She felt honored to work with so many talented people at Highview and Light of Christ Daycares. She was extremely proud of her sons Larry (Danielle) and Jeff (Fanny) and granddaughters Julianne and Jessica. Whether at the hockey arena, brownies, bike races or school events, Sue was there to support and cheer. To her granddaughter’s hockey teammates, she was affectionately known as “Grandma Sue”.

Susanne is survived by her husband Frank, and her sister Nancy (Wehrmann). Predeceased by her parents and brothers Larry & Bob Armstrong. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road in Scarborough on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 2pm with a visitation one hour prior.
