It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Susan Shizue Takeda at the age of 92 years old. Predeceased by husband John Shuji, she was the much loved mother of Donald (Barb), Julie, Peter (former wife Tammy McKerlie) Glen (Helen) and Paul (Sarah) and sister of Tatsuo Sakamoto of Ottawa. Grandmother to Rebecca, Vanessa, and Jake, Grace and Hannah, Emily, Sebrina and Mike, Ryan, Jaden, Zander, and Gabriella. Mom was an avid Blue Jays fan and had an unerring eye for calling balls and strikes. She was always positive and had a great enjoyment of life. Seemingly quiet, she had a devastating dry sense of humour that would have us in stitches. Above all, she was a lovely person whom we will all miss terribly. As per her wishes, there will be no funeral.
