Mum, NAN
You were very special to me, you always made me feel like I was doing a great job at being a very young mother, wife and daughter
Your support was always very much appreciated.
You taught me how to cook, invest my money and appreciate classical music
You took me to my very first musical, and got me on the ferry to Centre Island and that was no easy task
I will always cherish our memories, going to the Oshawa Centre every Friday, you stopping by my work to sit on the bench with me to have coffee and cookies to all the things we did together when you moved shortly after we did to Brighton, nature walks, breakfast in Campbelford to seeing the Halloween decorations and Christmas light displays, of course stopping at Timmies on the way home
It broke our hearts to let you go but we know you are no longer in pain or scared.
Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
Thank you for being my mentor, my nan, my friend, my girls gramma (nan) and my mum RIP
My personal and sincere condolences to the rest of the family members as well all the friends Susan “Nan” made along her journey. I was blessed to be one of those, first as a friend of someone close to Nan and later to becoming a friend and as she so often commented over the years, more so after losing my own mother, she would say I was like a son to her. Nan was blessed to have had her only son, but she was thrilled to have so many others she referred to as her children and grandchildren. She was Nan to us all. You are missed and you will be forever missed from our lives Nan. I hope you are resting peacefully with your maker and that together we are all making you proud of the way that we have come together to make a special day in your honour, a day of good stories, laughter, cries and memories that you filled our hearts with over the many years. Thank you for all you have taught us along the road we would not be who we are today if not for your wisdom you forced fed into us (and mmm that tastes good). Rest in peace old gal you deserve it. With love from the moon to the stars and back. Tommy
So thankful for all the lovely conversations we had. Nan always treated Bailey so well and we are very appreciative of that. So very sorry to her family.
My sincere condolences to the family members and to anyone who had a chance to have Nan be a part of their lives as she will be missed. I was a teenager when I first was introduced to NAN, as Stephanie's Grandmother.I had always found Nan to be kind and warm hearted and it was nice that over the course of years I would still see her at Dee Dee's and we had a chance to catch up on family things. Nan was always kind and warm hearted when we would talk and I will miss having that opportunity again. Rest In Peace Nan.
We trust that your fond memories of Susan will help you through this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathy,
Milly & Kelly
