In memory of

Susan Light

December 15, 1923 -  December 23, 2020

Born 1923 in Tientsin (now Tianjin) China. Died December 23, 2020 peacefully at her home in Brampton. Loving mother to Andrew, Juliana (James) Harrison, Louis (Brenda) and grandmother to Celeste, Craig and Yvonne. Daughter to the late John Watt Cameron and Constance Craig. Predeceased by her brothers John, Alexander (Sandy), Robert and Malcolm, and former husband Julien (Jules) Lalumiere (Light).
Susan was a dedicated Grade One teacher and led an adventurous life in her youth. Later in life she worked for Inter-City Truck Lines and Reimer Express until her retirement. A formidable chess player, a beautiful knitter and an avid reader with an inquisitive mind she loved to tell stories about her world-wide travels. Susan was adored by anyone fortunate enough to know her and will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, sacrifice and undying love she bestowed on her family and friends.
We would like to express our gratitude to the wonderful people who gave Susan their great care and compassion over these past many years, especially our community nurse Kiranjeet Kaur and the invaluable and caring PSWs especially Rafeena Khan, Sarah Ali and Ciselyn White.
