In memory of

Susan Carolyn Gordon

July 20, 1934 -  November 1, 2022

An open door and an open heart, mom always listened and truly cared. People made her world turn. She was a much-loved mom to Heather (Jay), Shelagh, Cynthia (Mark), Sue (Dave), cherished grandmother to Jessica (Christian), Caitlin, Evan (Emma), Matthew (Laura), Lucy (Eric) and Sam, adoring G.G. to Max, Fiona, Simone, Noelle, Jasper, Blake, Caoimhe, loving sister to Joe (Pat), Pat (Ken), Cynthia (Mike), loving aunt to all of her many nieces and nephews, an honourary mother to many and a loyal friend with special mention to Cyn, Pete and family, Mary, Andy, Roger and Ty all of whom held a special place in her heart…and gone but not forgotten, former husband David Gordon, father of her four daughters.

Mom was the center of our universe. She was always ready for an adventure and never said no to a new experience. You would never know where the path would lead, or who you might meet along the way, but a day out with mom always promised fun. She was a storyteller extraordinaire, accomplished interior designer, talented painter, master scrabble player, crossword genius, storm watcher and dog whisperer.

She was a rule breaker and a renegade and always carried herself with style and grace. A fighter, she was no more ready to leave this world, than we were ready to say goodbye.

She leaves a legacy of fun, laughter, mischief and an abundance of love. She lived a grand life and will be greatly missed.
