With a 14-year age gap between us, my sister, Ling-Lin, was more than just a sister, she was my best friend. She was an extraordinary, kind-hearted and compassionate person. She cared a lot for her family and friends, and would do anything to support them, much like how she looked after me when I was growing up. She was like a second mother to me, and I respect and love her for the devoted person she was.

After she got married and moved away to Canada, I missed her dearly. But distance didn't separate us - our bonds are stronger than ever. We grew to be even closer after I moved to Canada years later, and I will always cherish the times we’ve had together.

It is hard to accept that she will no longer be with us. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever, and I will never forget how wonderful a sister she was, She will be dearly missed by me and my family, Elton, Lancy, and Daphne.

Our deepest condolences to her family, especially her husband - my brother in law. While we understand the pain of losing your beloved wife, please also take good care of yourself. She will always watch over you.
