Sun Auyang
January 15, 1927 - November 10, 2023

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Sun Auyang, at the age of 96, on November 10, 2023 at the Mackenzie Health Hospital, Universal Care, Long Term Care Home. He leaves behind his wife, Vera, his daughter, Rosana, and his son, Derek (son-in-law Daniel). He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his granddaughter, Nicole. He was a manager of Squibb Pharmaceutical Company for over 30+ years in HK before he came to Canada. He continued working in Canada over 10 years before he retired. He was a fan of the Bruce Trail Hiking Club and went hiking every Sunday to explore different trails. Special thanks to the compassionate nurses at the MUCC clinic at Mackenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill, as well as the PSW and nurses at the Long Term Care Home. There will be a private cremation ceremony, only to be attended by the immediate family. Therefore there will be no public visitations. In memory of Sun and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
