我們親愛的媽媽 鍾淑貞是一位慈愛的母親、一位慈愛的嫲嫲，也是一位可愛的太嫲。
媽媽於1930年在東莞出生，在中國渡過童年及少年時期，後因戰亂一家到香港生活，長大後找到一份藥房工作，期間與父親羅裕明認識及一起組織家庭，長子出生後，兼顧照顧小孩及工作。她是五個孩子的媽媽，錦中Stanley、錦文Kam Man、錦雄Kenny 、錦輝Frankie、錦成Billy。1986年成為了嫲嫲，喜獲第一個孫女Jenny 羅恩恩，更在同年移民去加拿大。媽媽總共有五個孫子女：恩恩Jenny、煜傑Jason、俊偉Kevin、煜健Yuk Kin 、及穎彤Michelle。媽媽分擔兒媳工作幫忙照顧三位在加孫子女。恩恩、俊偉及穎彤。其中都有在家庭小生意中幫手兼打發時間。

媽媽生活簡單，享受與家人相聚時光，媽媽的嗜好是編織毛衣及頸巾，收藏小飾物及旅遊，更喜愛怕照，雖然不是專業攝影師，她和爸爸為家庭拍下許多生活點滴，留下美好回憶。家裡收藏一本一本的相簿，記錄不同階段的生活歷程。媽媽很重友誼，所以大概每隔兩年回香港探望親友，她最高興是與親戚、好友及舊同事相聚，聊起過往一切，最重要就是不忘與親友拍照留念。

媽媽在2019年成為曾祖母，喜獲曾孫潘紫瓊（Valerie），2021第二位曾孫潘駿峰（Max)出生。每逢假日或週末媽媽都很喜歡與他們一起渡過。

Our beloved mother Suk Ching Lo, passed away peacefully at the hospital, surrounded by family on March 18, 2024. Mother Suk Ching was a loving mother, grandma and great grandma. She enjoyed knitting, collecting trinkets, and travelling.
She was born in December 19, 1930 in Dongguan, China where she spent her childhood and teenage years.
Her family left Dongguan, China and went to Hong Kong during the war. She started a new life in Hong Kong and found full time work at a pharmacy. This is where she met our father Yu Ming. They fell in love, got married and started a family together. She became a full time Mother after her fourth son was born and had a total of 5 sons; Stanley, Kam Man, Kenny, Frankie and Billy. In 1986, she became a Grandma and eventually came to Canada from Hong Kong in December of the same year to take care of her granddaughter, Jenny.
Mother had a total of 5 grandchildren,Jenny, Jason, Kevin, Timothy and Michelle. She provided love and support to her sons and daughters-in-law by helping them take care of her grandchildren Jenny, Kevin and Michelle while their parents went to work. Mother enjoyed the simple things in life such as having dinner and spending time with family and taking many photos to keep these memories alive. She would often travel back to Hong Kong every two years to visit family members, relatives and friends.

She became a great grandmother in 2019 to Valerie and Max in 2021 and enjoyed spending weekends and holidays with them. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness she showed to everyone that she has ever met and will be missed dearly by all of us.
