In memory of

李瑞靄先生 Sui Oi Li

December 8, 1923 -  March 4, 2021

Sui Oi Li passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021 at the age of 97. He will be dearly missed by his sons Hong Wah and Hong Man, his daughter Mabel, his daughter-in-law Tita, his grandchildren and spouses Melissa (Clayton) and Daniel (Nicole), and great granddaughter Audrey.

Sui Oi was born and raised in Hong Kong. A family man who loved his late wife, Lin Siu Yeung Li, dearly and always regarded family as most important. A hard worker, who loved travelling, picture taking as well as reading newspapers to enrich himself with the latest news and know-how. He was an active member of the Tsim Sha Tsui Baptist Church in Hong Kong, and upon immigration to Canada he transferred his membership to Toronto Chinese Baptist Church and subsequently to Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church in 1987.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, PSWs and all staff at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care at Scarborough-McNicoll. We are grateful for the excellent care they provided to him all these years. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, you can donate to Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation in his (Sui Oi Li) honour. This would benefit thousands of seniors and families in the Greater Toronto Area.

Private Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 12, 2021 at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre (160 Beecroft Road, North York, Ontario).

Due to COVID-19, we are restricted to a maximum number of 10 people for both service and burial. Visitations will be held on Thursday evening on March 11, 2021. We are comforted in knowing how much he was loved by so many and our hearts are saddened that these difficult times prevent us from celebrating his life in the traditional way he deserved.

I knew Mabel's dad as a dignified, meticulous man who instilled his values in his daughter. His spirit will live on in her.

Condolences. Uncle Li was always so pleasant and charming. Always remember he gave Biblical puzzles at the HK TSTBC annual Boat cruises, such fun and interesting! Here in Canada, thankful we stayed in touch as they were good friends of our parents. We still remember the Happy 50th wedding celebration of Mr.and Mrs. Li! Loving family! May God's comfort and strength be with the family! Blessings!!🙏🙌💖
