In memory of

Sui Kin Riddick

January 7, 1933 -  January 28, 2021

Sui Kin Riddick, known as Kinny to her friends, is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly.

Kinny was born on the 7th day after Chinese New Year 1933 in Quangzhou China. She immigrated to Canada in 1954 and obtained an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and graduate degree in computing. She eventually left her career upon starting a family. She had a great devotion to her husband, daughter, and three grandsons. Her life was filled with love, laughter, great food and style.

Kinny is joining her husband Jim, who passed in April 2019. She leaves behind her daughter Katrina, son in law Craig, 3 grandsons (Nathan, Everett and Brett), brothers Bing and B Jeun, sister Jean Jeun Conway, multiple nieces and nephews, and last but not least many old and devoted friends.

We were friends of Kinny and Jim from their time at Scarborough College until now. So sad to lose them both in such a short time. These last few years we had hoped to go beyond email and meet again but age intervened and it didn't happen.

Please accept our condolences Katrina and thanks for letting us know.

Visits with Aunty Kinny and Uncle Jim always involved a meal. I remember her pouring over the menu and making sure to ask the server about how it was to be prepared. Food was so important to her! ❤️
Sending big hugs to Katrina, Craig, Nathan, Everett and Brent...
Love, Gwen and Dan
