LEM, Sue Won, 88, passed away peacefully on March 19th, 2019 at Toronto General Hospital (TGH). She arrived from Taishan (台山), China in 1950 as the beloved wife of the late Hong Tim (Peter) Lem. Dedicated Mother to Philip (Mary), Edward, Wings (Esther) and Michael. Loving grandmother (Nana) to Sara, Suzanna and Jacob. Sister of Kit Tam Ng (Wah), the late Kit Fong Ng (Yuk Kuen). Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff of TGH and all the caregivers who were lovingly involved in “Mother Lem’s” care.

Aunt Sue was a kindhearted, generous person. As a recipient of her kindness and generosity, I have wonderful memories when she took our family in at her home after arriving from Hong Kong, will miss her greatly.

Mother Lem will always be remembered as a wonderful, kind, dedicated and hard-working woman who raised four sons on her own after her husband passed away. She was very loved by my family. Her soul will find eternal rest while our memories live on.
