In memory of

Su Jing Hu

November 18, 1932 -  October 1, 2024

Su Jing Hu, a beloved wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 1, 2024, at the age of 92. She was the devoted wife of the late Chun Keng Man and is survived by her loving family who carry forward her legacy of kindness, generosity, strength, wisdom and her love for Jesus.

Su Jing Hu is survived by her cherished children: daughter Vivien, and her husband Raphael; son Philip and his wife Becky; and son Simon and his wife Winnie. She was a cherished “Granny” to Wendy and her husband Ricky, Melody and her husband Wan Lung, Jacquelyn, Marcus and his wife Mei Yi, and Jeremy. Her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Hayden, Savannah, Alexis, Ming Hoi, and Ming Huen, brought her immense joy and will forever carry the memories of her kindness, and warmth. Her sister, XueZhen. Her niece Lydia and her husband Charlie, and their daughter Carmen. Her sister-in-law Xi Aoe, nephew & niece - Hong Yu & Li Fang.

Throughout her life, Su Jing was cherished for her unwavering love for her family and her deep, steadfast faith in God. She found joy in singing, music, and playing the harmonica, and she was an avid knitter and traveler who especially loved shopping and going on cruises. Her greatest delight came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she could often be found at church, where her active participation was a reflection of her devotion. Su Jing Hu’s vibrant spirit and lasting love will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of Su Jing Hu's life will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Elgin Mills Cemetery. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice Vaughan in her memory (https://www.hospicevaughan.com/how-to-donate).

As a family, we would like to thank the doctors, nurses, staff, and volunteers at Victoria Hospital and Hospice Vaughan, for the care, compassion and support of our beloved Su Jing.
