Su Chen Chung, age 83, passed away on Monday March 18, 2019 at her Toronto home after a courageous seven-month battle with colon cancer.

Su Chen Chung was born in Calcutta, India on January 24th, 1935 to loving parent, Ah Chiew Shiu and Choon Fuk Chung. As a mother of four living in the impoverished neighbourhood of Tangra, Calcutta, Su Chen worked tirelessly in countless jobs such as selling bread in the early morning and working afternoon shifts at a leather factor, with the goal to provide for her children. After immigrating to Canada in 1991, Su Chen worked as a babysitter before retiring to spend more time raising her grandchildren and surrounding herself with family and friends.

Besides her children, Sui Lin Lim, Shon Su Yeh, Mei Lin Yeh, and Keh So Yeh, Su Chen Chung leaves behind her beloved grandchildren (Angel and Austin Yeh, Andy Law, Sylvia Chen, Lyvia Wu, Aaron and Fung Lin), children-in-laws (Low Fat Law, Wei Lan Huang, Mayung Yeh), as well as her beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Su Chen Chung was an incredibly caring and loving soul who has left a tremendous impact in many of her family and friends lives.
