Filed his last flight plan on January 16th, 2017, in Toronto in his 93rd year, following a brief illness. Loving father to Eve (Richard Chang), Helen Curtin, and Hilary (Bill Wardle). Devoted grandpa to Carolyn, Scott and Robert. Stu was predeceased by his loving wife Mavis (neé Barden), and is survived by his brother Arthur Wollis of Mount Forest. World War 2 veteran RCAF, Career pilot (Central Airways), weather aficionado, dancer, and connoisseur of a well-baked pie.

Stu will be celebrated with family and friends on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 at PINE HILLS FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON. Visitation at 11:00 a.m. with service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Please join us to remember a life well-lived.
